number of other teams from around the world. We work very closely with
the resort, and have complete flexibility over training times, and as
such are able to design training days in the most beneficial ways for
attending athletes:
Our Operational Director Luc
Pelletier and Athletic Director Jeff Books
have designed our programs based on their combined 30+ years of
coaching experience in Europe ,
Canada , Chile
and Australia/New Zealand
.
International Racers programs are a systematic approach to skill and
tactical development with proven results.
International Racer coaches
believe in building fit, strong athletes and developing accurate alpine
skills, tactics, muscle memory and mental toughness in order to realize
ones maximum potential.

Conditions
0. OBA
refers to "Organised by the Athlete", although IR staff may assist with
contact points or assist with logistics
1. The fee is a strictly flat rate; No pro-rata
for missed days or race days is available.
2. Away
race costs are not included in the flat camp cost, this is the industry
standard practice as away race costs cannot be fixed.
3. Please review all extra conditions of training listed at bottom of
page.
4.
Non-scheduled airport pickup and deliveries are charged at the rate set
forth in the above table. The distance is not trivial and IR needs to
charge for the cost of a driver and vehicle to be sent to
pickup/deliver the athlete.
5.
International Racer reserves the right to refuse admittance or alter
groups based on numbers
6. International camps (outside Canada) are tax free.
7. All athletes
participate with the meal plan. Due
to logistics and
the employment of cooking staff, excluding the meal plan is not
possible as IR has agreed to minimum numbers with our food provider.
8. Groups must have a minimum 6 athletes to run
9. Athletes will be
provided with breakfast, lunch
and dinner; however,
athletes are responsible for the purchase of personal snacks.
10. Full fees must be paid before the camp starts, the majority of our
costs are 3rd party and wages. IR is not able to be a credit provider
for athletes. IR cannot accept athletes who are not fully paid up. This
will be strictly enforced
11. When group number do not reach the minimum 6, existing participants
will be offered a private or group number rate.
12. Participants must be insured against the possibility of injury or
illness preventing training. Fees paid will not be returned, due to the
high percentage of 3rd party costs and guaranteed coach wages.

Passports
• All people entering Sweden must have a valid passport with a minimum
of six months validity from the date of intended return.
Please be sure that your passport is organized as far in advance as
possible.

Required Documentation - When traveling

traveling;

Spending
Once on
the ground in Sweden, athletes will have very predictable expenditures.
As meals are included with the program, athlete spending should be
relatively low, barring a little bit of horse back riding, a sight
seeing trip or two, meals whilst in transit, and possibly a few
souvenirs.
Credit Cards &
Eftpos (debit ) Cards
• Credit cards will work, however
each transaction will
be subject to an international surcharge. Be sure to check with your
financial institution for the specifics. It is a good idea to have a
well defined spending limit for your attending athlete(s).
• Foreign debit card will work in
Swedish ATM’s, however
will not work at the point of sale. A surcharge will apply to each
transaction.
• Please be sure that the card(s)
your athlete takes over is set up for international withdrawals.
Communications
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones will work fine in
Sweden, however it is
best to avoid international calls (outgoing as well as incoming) on the
mobile phones unless absolutely necessary due to the high costs of
international charges on mobile phones.
Skype
Skype is a great
alternative to using land lines.
Visit www.skype.com for more information to set up an account if you
don’t have one already.
Phone
Cards
We recommend that you
purchase a phone card for
calling home. Phone cards are available at most convenience stores;
they are very affordable, easy to use and generally feature good sound
quality. The use of phone cards will also make it cheaper for the
recipients of international calls in Canada...don’t forget that in
Canada, you pay for incoming as well as outgoing calls on your mobile.
Internet
* High speed internet is
available in the restaurant.
